Autumns Party

Two years ago.

Boy, have we had a busy and mostly fun past two years. Autumn is a busy bee for sure! She loves to sing and dance. She loves to play outside and just made a new friend her age, yay! When anyone comes home we look forward to her running up and saying "HI" or she will run and hide for us to find her. She gets markers and crayons out and the first thing she says is "on paper only" as she is coloring on the wall, door or book shelf. She will also put herself in time out and say "one minute" the whole time she is there. She is learning new words and phrases everyday! She had my phone one day and when I went to take it she hid it behind her back and said "hello butt, hello Rachel's butt". She still will eat dog food, was hoping she would have graduated from that by now. She is also into SpongeBob Square pants. She has to watch it everyday, but she will only be interested for a few minutes of it. She knows how to get her way with her older sisters and is a daddy's girl for sure.Happy 2nd Birthday Autumn!
All I wanted was to take one nice picture of Autumn on her birthday....one with her looking at the camera, clean face, somewhat of a smile.

Last week Rachel and Karen were on fall break so we went camping at Woods Canyon Lake. It was a little chilly for us, but not too bad. Autumn had fun getting out of the sleeping bag, get cold, say "cold", laugh and jump back in. She normally won't sleep with blankets so she thought the cold was fun and actually used the blankets. She also got her first taste of hot cocoa. The older girls had to get a hammock and Autumn had fun with it too. She even took a nap in it. The girls got a little bored with two nights of camping, but pasted the time by NOT multitasking. They figured they had plenty of time, so no eating sandwiches and playing a game. You ate, then you played. Rachel made a peach cobbler and Karen made the fire. They both took time to make a toilet in the woods. Autumn enjoyed the woods. She loved the moss and picked it up. She looked for acorns and her and Jack would lift rocks to see the bugs under them. She loved walking the logs and standing on tree stumps. But she really loved the embankments. She thought she could just go running down them and would throw a fit to go down. It was kinda scary because there were some big embankments. We did find a small one and she walked herself, didn't want help even falling twice.

Fall portraits
We had fall pictures done, finally. Haven't had pictures done of Rachel and Karen in over a year. Autumn would not sit and when we called it quits and were picking out pictures the photographer was nice enough to go back and try again. We still didn't get much more with the background and clothes I wanted. But we did get a couple of cute ones.
