Grand View - 2010 Baseball Schedule

Here is Kyle's baseball schedule. He starts out with his first game in Minneapolis and then to Oklahoma. Then spending a week in March at Daytona Beach Fla. A nice welcome from the freezing weather and snow in IA. Wish we could go to one of his games, maybe next year.

Autumn the drummer

Autumn liked Jake's drum set. She took to playing them right away..LOL. She was concerned about daddy coming home and kept looking out the window for him.

Another trip to the zoo

We took another trip to the zoo, this time the Wild Life World Zoo. At this zoo you are much closer to the animals. Autumn loves the animals too. To her they are in two categories, a dog or a monkey, which she imitates both. She pants and barks like a dog and rubs her chest and screeches like a monkey. When we went into the petting zoo she plopped herself down next to a goat and started poking, pulling his ear and kissing him. She followed them around trying to pick up the small ones and barking at them. She was wearing a fleece outfit which picked up the dirt and goat scent quite well and smelled like a goat the rest of the day. We fed the birds too. She didn't seem to mind at first, but then decided she didn't want to share the apple the zoo gives you to feed them so she tucked them under her arms. She also got to pet the stingrays, one came up to her and she wasn't afraid. She is our Dr Doolittle.

Autumn's new fort

Karen and Kyle found this big box in the parking lot of the store and painted it and gave it to Autumn to play in. She takes her mp3 player and hangs out inside. I thought we had a few years before she hides from us and blares her music!

Christmas 2009

We had a very nice Christmas this year. We were so glad Kyle was here in the warmth of Phoenix. I think everyone got what they wanted and we had a nice day. The kids surprised me with a framed picture of the four of them together and Autumn got a box.
