Tolleson Electric Parade

Tolleson's electric parade is short and sweet. About 10 floats and 10 marching bands. No crowds. Our kind of parade! They have food booths and rides at the park. We had a quick dinner, the girls rode a ride and played at the playground.
Autumn liked to climb and slide.
Jack feeding Autumn cotton candy, she still isn't quite sure if you eat it or put it to your face and cuddle it like a stuffed animal.

At the Airport

After a big blizzard and only one cancellation Kyle made it to Phoenix on the 10th. The girls had fun at the airport waiting for him. Rachel and Karen not missing a photo opportunity. Autumn being able to run the hall and climb the chairs. Autumn also met a 21mo old baby who looked just like her, same blue eyes and bald head. She was taller than Autumn and would look her eyes down at Autumn and the two just stood there staring at each other for a good while. Autumn even tried to pinch her as if to see if she was real. We need to get Autumn some play dates with some kids!
We completely forgot to take pictures of Kyle coming home. He looks the same, maybe a little more bulkier. He said he has gained 15lbs. I think it is all muscle. Autumn remembered him! She was slightly hesitant at first, but after that she was showing off to him. Kyle goes back to freezing Iowa on the 28th so we get a good long visit with him. His car was buried in snow when he left and figured if anyone could dig it out they deserve to steal it. He should enjoy our upcoming week of mid 70 weather.

Baby Signs

It sure has been fun teaching Autumn to do baby signs. Rachel and Karen have had fun teaching her too! I don't remember there being much talk about it when we had the other kids (I wonder if they would have been as smart to learn?) KIDDING! Anyway, she knows milk,eat/food,drink,bath,shoes, daddy, fruit, more, poop and lotion, we can't walk down any soap or cleaner isles at the store without her doing lotion, and of course she knows dog, which she also barks and pants. She is doing a few of the signs in the video. She also climbed on the table by herself!

Build a Bear workshop.

Our great neighbors Robert and Joyce gave Autumn some money to buy a teddy bear for her birthday. Robert says all kids should have their very own bear. So Rachel had an idea to let Autumn pick one out at Build a Bear. Autumn squealed with delight when she saw this bear and immediately started kissing it. She didn't seem to notice it was flat and had no stuffing and didn't pay any attention to the lady filling it up with stuffing. But she sure had fun walking around the store kissing the bear and dancing to it's sound box, Frosty the Snowman song.We picked out a Santa hat to go with the song. The girls named the bear Robby for Robert.

Ever wonder?

Do you ever wonder what those girls are doing during family functions? They are usually doing photo shoots. Here is a sampling of their work. This time they delayed dessert so they could get a photo shoot in!

Thansgiving 2009.

We went to Tucson for Thanksgiving and ate dinner at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Debbie's. Cousin Fred flew in from New York. Mark, Deb and Dominik were also there along with other Pundt clan. We had a nice dinner and visit with Grandma Pundt. We stayed the night at a hotel and tried to go shopping the next day, but the line was 5 miles long and 5 hour wait, well not that long, but it was long enough to put back our items. Autumn had fun running in the hotel hall and she quickly found the kleenex in the bathroom and had the floor covered in no time. Karen tried to eat the cost of the room in food from the breakfast buffet, she maybe recovered 1% of the room. All in all it was a fun get away!

Autumn had her first Birthday Party on Sunday. Her big sisters were the host of the party. They did all the planning and cleaning. They shopped for the food, did the decorations and baked the cupcakes. They planned games and gave prizes, which were fun. They had everyone guess the then(birth) and now weight and height etc. How many teeth and baths a day Autumn gets and etc. There was a little disbelief on the three baths a day, but most days she does. A bath in the morning after she has played in the dirt, usually one after lunch because she tries to feed herself and one at night. We also didn't know until after the party she has or is getting the 9th 10th and 11th tooth not just the 8 we thought. But the girls did great and it was allot of fun. We had 19 of us, mostly neighbors and the next youngest was 8. We hope Autumn has some kids her age next year. She loved all her presents and had to kiss all of them. Best of all we didn't have a toddler melt down like I thought we would and she even danced for the guest.

Autumn's birthday presents

Autumn got a slide and a cheerleader doll for her birthday. The doll sings and Autumn dances to it. Her head was going to the beat right at the second cheer. She loves her new slide and doll as you can tell by the screams. Rachel and Karen did all the planing for the party and it turned out to be fun, even Autumn had fun. I will post pics when I get Rachel's camera, she took all the pictures.

Thanksgiving past.

Tucson 2007, at Grandma Pundt's. We had a pot luck for the folks at Grandma's trailer park. The only person we knew was Grandma, but we wanted to be there and spend the day with her. As it turned out she was busy in the kitchen(as usual) and we didn't get to eat with her, but we did get to meet some new people who were alone for the Holiday. We had quite the assortment of food. We then spent the night and went to the Zoo the next morning.

Look we got Kyle to go to Grandma's and the Zoo.
Thanksgiving 2008. Autumn was just a week old and the family came to help cook and have dinner at our house, so we didn't have to travel with a new baby. Jack took the girls shopping and Rachel made most of the food. Sheila did ALL the clean-up. We did a deep fried turkey and we brined a turkey. This was the first Thanksgiving we had at our house in the 21 years we have been married. It was all yummy, a combination of Pundt family recipes and Thomas recipes. 17 of us all together.

My Wonderful Son

A few guys from the team.. As you can see they are not as creative as Kyle and his bros and are not manly enough to wear dresses.

Kyle had to wear a Holloween costume for his Boooos Ball game. Kyle dressed as Taylor swift, Benny dressed as Kanye West and Sean dressed as a sorry looking white Beyonce. For those of you who dont know what this all meant.. Taylor swift won a VMA award for best music video of the year. As she received her award on stage she was met by Kanye West who took the mic and announced that "beyonce had the best video of the year". So as Kyle went up to bat, Benny ran to the plate, took the bat from Kyle and announced that "Beyonce had the best swing of the year". He then gave the bat to Sean and the crowd laughed histerically. Kyle and Sean both recieved compliments on how sexy they looked compared to the ugly corn fed girls on the softball team.

The quiet one. Part 2

Many faces of Autumn.

Chocolate Chip Cookie. Green Marker.

Dirt.

The quiet one.

Autumn is so quiet we sometimes forget she is in the house!

Don't look under the sink!

Autumn is our vampire, she likes to hide in dark places. This is one of her favorite spots, I tried to tape the doors closed until we can install child proof locks but she pulled the tape off.

Timber!

Jon came over and cut our tree down, it landed exactly where they wanted it to fall. Too bad we forgot to video it.

BOO!

New Skills.

Autumn is almost 11mo!! She does a fish, she also moves her lips open and closed like a fish. She loves to talk on the phone(or remote control). If you tell her to talk to Kyle she holds it to her ear and says,"H" (hello)" tw" (I think "what", I have a bad habit of saying "What!" on the phone)

Daddy taught her to find her ear.
She is saying a few "word"(sounds) at least WE think they are words. She will point at you or the dogs and say "sh", shut up.Probably all the times we are telling the dogs to SHUT UP! She also says sissy, dog, mama, dada,hi,bye and is doing a couple of signs, milk and dog. She keeps us busy!
