A grapefruit grown between the branches.

Blue Eyed Baby.

Our blue eyed baby is 19 weeks old. She is growing so fast. She is already learning to sit up on her own, she is still wobbly, but I think she realises that she can see more at that view. She likes to grab Scrappy's hair and ear. She gives it a good yank, but Scrappy is good about not biting, he isn't happy about it but is starting to figure out he needs to stay away from her. Don't know what he will do when she starts crawling. Autumn is an early bird, she has been waking up anytime between 4:30 and 6:00. You just can't be grumpy at those big blue eyes staring at you even at 4:30 in the morning! So you would think being up that early she would take a good long afternoon nap, nope! She is a cat napper, 10min. here and there. So maybe with my lack of sleep is why I had my first person ask if Autumn was my granddaughter.

Question: How do you eat your snickers?

I eat the chocolate off the side of the bar and then the bottom. I then eat the nougat and have the nuts and carmel for last. How do you eat yours?

Escape!

The lock on the swing is kinda weird, so if you don't push it tight Autumn will push the tray up with her feet. She will sit there just pushing it with her feet happy until she falls out one of these days. But the girls are there ready to disguise her when she ecsapes. Next time I hope the ink comes of better, she wore this mustache all night. Good thing we weren't going anywhere.

Spring Break-as told by Rachel

The girls had this past week off on spring break. They spent it not doing much until Friday when they went to Castles 'n Coasters with Rachel's friends Steffany and Kasie. On the way home they stopped at McDonalds to get some food when some excitement arose. They were sitting in the drive-thru deciding what to get when all of a sudden they heard a comotion from the Circle K across the street! They watched in anticipation as two boys dropped a case of beer and went running down the street. Quickly, Jack jumped up and stood in the doorway of the truck while his daughters and Steffany sat in fear, screaming, "Dad, sit down! They could have a gun!" Of course he didn't listen to the girls' warnings; instead he yelled over to the perps, "I saw what you did! I'm callin' the cops!" Showing them his cell phone, he punched in the numbers while letting them know exactly who he was calling. "9-1-1!" he yelled over to them. The boys smirked at him, yelling some explicit language, and ran, beer in hand, behind the Subway across the street. Jumping back into the truck, Jack yelled, "I'm followin' you!" He backed out of the drive-thru and took off after the boys while on the phone to the police. At this point a suspicious white car backed into a parking spot and sat as if waiting for someone. Since Jack didn't know their exact location, he was adviced by the 911 operator to stop his persuit and pull up to the intersection to find out the cross roads. This gave the criminals just enough time to get out of sight before the police showed up. Minutes later, there were several cop cars in the parking lot of McDonalds. After their arrival, Jack decided to leave it in the hands of professionals and they went back to the drive-thru to get thier food. While they were waiting, the cops approached the window and questioned about the events they had witnessed. Jack informed them that he was the one who had called and gave them the sequence of events as he witnessed them, including the suspicious white car. Just then the white car pulled into the parking lot and peeled out right before speeding back into the street. "That could be them!" They told the police officer, who instructed his back up to investigate. Once all the information was received, the cops told them to be on their way. They grabbed their food, after paying for it of course, and drove home to tell Heather the exciting story. Because of this action packed night, the girls now know beer runs are BAD!

Dr. Day

Autumn went to the doctor for a check up, she got 3 shots. She cried, it almost made me cry,but it wasn't too bad. When she got home she had a new high chair and got to try some rice cereal for the first time. I wanted to wait until she was about a month older, but she holds her self up so good and watches me eat and the doctor was impressed how strong she is and suggested we could try cereal. She did good, she didn't spit it out, she only ate three bites, but seemed to like it. She is growing too fast! She weighed 12lb 15oz and 24in long.
Little Sweet Pea!

Our Little Pot of Gold.

On St.Patricks's day I went to the store and when I came back Rachel and Karen had Autumn dressed for the day, a green frog shirt and had made a green headband. Her toes were painted for the holiday. She was so cute. She is so fun!

Autumn 4months old

Four months already! She is so happy all the time. She laughs and has learned to roll over to her tummy. She gets mad when she can't roll to her back. Her temperment is showing, but she is still so happy. Her cries and laughter mix together, it is funny to watch, her face looks happy, but there are cries coming from her.

Kyle's Ball Playing

So Kyle heard from a coach from New Mexico. Let us all cross our fingers for New Mexico other wise it might be Iowa...cold cold! He will only have two more Saturday home games. They are April 11 and 18 if anyone wants to come.
