Prom

Rachel went to prom Saturday night. It was held at the Renaissance Hotel next to University of Phoenix Stadium(Cardinals). She looked cute in her dress and her date Johnny had a green vest to match the green undertone of Rachel's dress. They had yellow daisy corsage and boutonniere. They ate dinner at Kincades in downtown Phoenix where Johnny is a Host. They saw D-Back fans leaving as they were getting there and got compliments on their matching attire. They had fun at the dance, the theme was Mardigras.

Kyle has been offered a full scholarship to Grand View University in Des Moine IA. So it looks like he will be moving at the end of the summer. He will be a 23 hour drive away. We were hoping his best buddy Sean would be going too because he has family that lives there, but looks like Sean will stay another year at Phoenix and another team member will be going with Kyle. Grand View is the home of the Vikings. The Viking baseball team spent their spring break in Daytona Beach, Florida this year. Here is a link if you want to take a peek at what the college looks like. 100 degrees!

We hit 100 degrees on Tuesday. So we let Autumn play with the hose and eat rocks.

She is 5 months old now and rolling all over the floor, getting under the furniture. She will be crawling real soon.

Busy Sunday.

Rachel was asked to Prom, so we went dress shopping and shoe shopping. I forgot what it was like pushing a baby in the stroller in the mall. The elevators are all in the back, you have to do alot more walking and of course the stores you want are right next to the escalator, but we have to venture about looking for the elevator. Autumn already likes to shop, she grabs the colorful dresses off the racks. I am glad to see nursing lounges now! One time I just sat in the nursing lounge rocking Autumn and it was so quiet and peaceful, I wonder if the security guard checks to see if they are empty before they close the mall.
