Tolleson Electric Parade

Tolleson's electric parade is short and sweet. About 10 floats and 10 marching bands. No crowds. Our kind of parade! They have food booths and rides at the park. We had a quick dinner, the girls rode a ride and played at the playground.
Autumn liked to climb and slide.
Jack feeding Autumn cotton candy, she still isn't quite sure if you eat it or put it to your face and cuddle it like a stuffed animal.

At the Airport

After a big blizzard and only one cancellation Kyle made it to Phoenix on the 10th. The girls had fun at the airport waiting for him. Rachel and Karen not missing a photo opportunity. Autumn being able to run the hall and climb the chairs. Autumn also met a 21mo old baby who looked just like her, same blue eyes and bald head. She was taller than Autumn and would look her eyes down at Autumn and the two just stood there staring at each other for a good while. Autumn even tried to pinch her as if to see if she was real. We need to get Autumn some play dates with some kids!
We completely forgot to take pictures of Kyle coming home. He looks the same, maybe a little more bulkier. He said he has gained 15lbs. I think it is all muscle. Autumn remembered him! She was slightly hesitant at first, but after that she was showing off to him. Kyle goes back to freezing Iowa on the 28th so we get a good long visit with him. His car was buried in snow when he left and figured if anyone could dig it out they deserve to steal it. He should enjoy our upcoming week of mid 70 weather.

Baby Signs

It sure has been fun teaching Autumn to do baby signs. Rachel and Karen have had fun teaching her too! I don't remember there being much talk about it when we had the other kids (I wonder if they would have been as smart to learn?) KIDDING! Anyway, she knows milk,eat/food,drink,bath,shoes, daddy, fruit, more, poop and lotion, we can't walk down any soap or cleaner isles at the store without her doing lotion, and of course she knows dog, which she also barks and pants. She is doing a few of the signs in the video. She also climbed on the table by herself!

Build a Bear workshop.

Our great neighbors Robert and Joyce gave Autumn some money to buy a teddy bear for her birthday. Robert says all kids should have their very own bear. So Rachel had an idea to let Autumn pick one out at Build a Bear. Autumn squealed with delight when she saw this bear and immediately started kissing it. She didn't seem to notice it was flat and had no stuffing and didn't pay any attention to the lady filling it up with stuffing. But she sure had fun walking around the store kissing the bear and dancing to it's sound box, Frosty the Snowman song.We picked out a Santa hat to go with the song. The girls named the bear Robby for Robert.

Ever wonder?

Do you ever wonder what those girls are doing during family functions? They are usually doing photo shoots. Here is a sampling of their work. This time they delayed dessert so they could get a photo shoot in!

Thansgiving 2009.

We went to Tucson for Thanksgiving and ate dinner at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Debbie's. Cousin Fred flew in from New York. Mark, Deb and Dominik were also there along with other Pundt clan. We had a nice dinner and visit with Grandma Pundt. We stayed the night at a hotel and tried to go shopping the next day, but the line was 5 miles long and 5 hour wait, well not that long, but it was long enough to put back our items. Autumn had fun running in the hotel hall and she quickly found the kleenex in the bathroom and had the floor covered in no time. Karen tried to eat the cost of the room in food from the breakfast buffet, she maybe recovered 1% of the room. All in all it was a fun get away!
