Kyle has left the Cul de Sac!

Kyle left for Iowa at 10pm Wed. He will drive through to Liberal or Wichita KS and stay the night, 14 hrs. Then continue to Des Moines on Friday morning about 6hrs from Wichita. They have their apartment ready to move in on Saturday. His car was packed so full that he could barely fit his new LapTop, and he wanted to get a desk top, ha ha! He had just enough room to get in and drive. He would have had more room if only he had kept his Mercury.

I made this quilt for Kyle's room mate Sean. Actually me and Jack made it, he did all the binding on both quilts.

We made this for Kyle, some of his old baseball pants are in it and Phoenix College and Tolleson logos. We will soon add a Grand View one!

Rachel turned 16, but she still wanted a volcano cake because she loves Dinosaurs. When you don't have red food coloring you make pink lava.

In- N- Out close by!

They opened an In-N- Out Burger close by us. Who new you could have so much fun eating there. I guess these girls did.You never know what these girls will do when Courtney comes for a visit.

Inspecting the place to make a home.

These bees were at Rachel's boyfriends house. They showed up suddenly, thousands of them. Then about 15 minutes later they were gone. A week later they found a bee hive in the side of their house. It looks like the bee above is the leader and is tapping on the glass to be let in. Rachel said it was just like a cartoon with a swarm of bees showing up suddenly. We forgot we had this picture. It was at the NLCS Oct.11 2007 AZ Diamondbacks vs. Colorado Rockies. Fans were outraged by a questionable call by the umpire and began throwing water bottles and trash on the field. Some of the fans also started to get rowdy in the stands. Kyle and Jack were at this game and this is what went on next to them. I guess these guys were thrown out.

I saw our old couch at the thrift store. Actually not sure if it is our old couch, but looks just like it. FUN!!

Boom Boom Pow

Autumn dances to one of her favorite songs, Boom Boom Pow. Of course the dogs started to bark and she got distracted. But she likes to dance by shaking her arms in the air. Her other favorite song is Smile On by Mai Shi (San Diego commercial)

Not too old!

I guess the girls are not too old to tip the couch on its' side and build a fort to sleep in.

Sweet Potato.

This is what happens when you forget a sweet potato in the fruit basket. Two were left in the basket and started to sprout. The first one we put in water and it would grow in front of your eyes. It would grow an inch or more a day. We cut it back and then planted it outside in a pot. The second one we put directly in the dirt. See how much growth in two days.In the first picture you can't see the second plant and two days later in has many shoots growing up.
